SpecialSession #1 Fake Ads and Ad Frauds: Understanding the Difference and Building Credibility and Transparency in the Advertising Industry
                                                                                In this session, we will discuss the issues of “fake ads” and “ad frauds” that affect the entire advertising industry. While fake ads deceive consumers by using false identities of celebrities and other deceptive tactics, ad fraud exploits advertising systems to generate illegitimate revenue, such as through click fraud, causing financial losses to advertisers.  Although these two practices are distinct, they are often confused. 
This session will define the root causes of both problems and explore ways to foster transparency, credibility, and reliability across the industry. We aim to create a sustainable advertising ecosystem in collaboration with JAA (Japan Advertisers Association) and JICDAQ (Japan Joint Industry Committee for Digital Advertising Quality & Qualify) to ensure the industry's healthy growth.
